Terms of Use

1. The Service

Potluck is a personal and social cooking application that allows users to create, store, organize, and privately share recipes and cookbooks with others they choose. Potluck may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

2. Eligibility

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Users may register using email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Users are responsible for all activity under their account.

4. User Content

Users retain ownership of their content but grant Potluck a limited license to host and display it to operate the Service. All content sharing is private.

5. Acceptable Use

Users may not upload unlawful or abusive content, interfere with the Service, or violate third-party rights.

6. Content Moderation

Potluck reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts if Terms are violated.

7. Premium Subscription

a. Overview

Potluck offers an optional premium subscription ("Potluck Premium") that provides access to additional features and functionality. Premium features are subject to change, and Potluck reserves the right to add, modify, or remove premium features at any time without prior notice.

b. Billing and Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you selected) unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

c. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by going to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, selecting Potluck, and tapping "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date.

d. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Potluck does not directly issue refunds. If you would like to request a refund, you must do so through Apple. You can visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.

e. Changes to Premium Features

The features included in Potluck Premium may change over time. We may add new features, modify existing ones, or discontinue certain features at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of significant changes, but continued use of the subscription after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

8. Intellectual Property

All Service materials (excluding user content) are owned by Potluck and protected by law.

9. Termination

Users may delete their account at any time. Potluck may terminate access for violations or legal reasons.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties.

11. Limitation of Liability

Potluck is not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

Terms may be updated, with notice provided for material changes.
